Cross-border network acceleration in five steps

You only need three things before you start: a device to use (a computer or a phone), a working internet connection, and a few uninterrupted minutes. All five steps — creating an account, placing an order, copying the subscription, importing it into your client and verifying the connection — happen in your browser and the client. There is no extra helper tool to install, and no email address to prepare.

A MeyeVPN account is made up of a username and a password, and no email address is required to register. That leaves one thing to look after yourself: keep your credentials safe. Use a password manager, or write them down somewhere only you can get to. Because the process does not rely on email recovery, saving your password when you register saves a lot of trouble later.

Open the registration page in the user panel; you will see two fields, username and password. The username is what you sign in with, so keep it short and free of personal details; for the password, use twelve characters or more, mixing upper- and lowercase letters with digits. Fill in both fields and submit — the whole process requires no email address, and there is no verification email to wait for, so the account is ready the moment you submit.

After you submit, you land on the account overview section of the panel. Here you can see your account status, your current plan and where the subscription details live. If you have not bought a plan yet, the subscription field in the overview is empty, and that is normal — choose a plan next; the subscription link appears once the plan is active.

If the username is already taken, just pick another one; if the password is not strong enough, add length or more character types as prompted. Registration involves no payment and costs nothing. Once it is done, do not close the page right away — the next step, placing your order, happens in the same panel.

The plan purchase section of the panel lists every tier on sale. Monthly subscriptions come in three data tiers, with data resetting each month on the activation date; if you upgrade to a higher tier mid-cycle, the difference is converted into remaining days, so nothing is wasted. Data packs are a one-time purchase that lasts until used up and never expires — a good fit if your usage varies or you simply want to try the service for a while.

Once you have chosen a tier, continue to checkout. Payment options include Alipay, WeChat Pay and USDT — pick whichever you prefer. After you order, the order appears in the orders section of the panel and its status moves from pending to paid, at which point the plan takes effect. Simultaneous connections are not limited by device count, so your home, office and phone can share one account without buying a separate plan for each device.

If you are not sure which tier fits, start with the lowest monthly tier and adjust later based on actual usage; monthly subscriptions can be upgraded mid-cycle, with the difference converted into remaining days, so there is no need to cancel and buy again. If your usage is concentrated in a few days, a data pack works too — no monthly renewal required.

Once your plan is active, go back to the account overview section of the panel, where your subscription details and a subscription link appear. That link is the source of your client configuration — copy it and paste it into the client in the next step. The link looks roughly like this:

The address above is only a format example — always use the link shown in your panel, and do not copy the sample here. The subscription link is tied to your account, and anyone who has it can use up your data, so do not post it in group chats or public forums, and cover it up when you share a screenshot.

The client downloads section of the panel provides a client for each platform. Subscriptions are only available after you sign in; the panel never exposes a public static download address, and every client and subscription comes from your account — which is also why subscription links do not leak easily. If the overview does not show your subscription details yet, first check that the order was paid successfully and the plan is active, then refresh the page.

The client is the program that actually establishes the connection. Client names and interfaces differ by platform, but importing a subscription is always the same sequence: open the client → find the subscription or configuration entry → paste the subscription link → update the subscription → choose a route from the server list. Below is roughly where that entry sits on each platform.

Choose a route and click connect. The route list is grouped by region; for your first session, start with a region close to you, since connections usually establish faster. Once connected, the client shows a connected status, and some clients also show the session duration and data usage. That information is for reference only — there is no need to check every item.

The most direct way to confirm it is really working is to open an international site that is usually unreliable and see whether it loads. You can also open an IP lookup page and check whether the location shown has changed to the region of the route you chose. If the location has not changed, your traffic is not going through the route yet — go back to the client, confirm the connection status, and check whether the routing mode is set correctly.

The routing mode decides which traffic goes through the route. Rule mode sends only the traffic that needs acceleration through the route and connects local services and sites in your region directly — this is the one to use day to day. Global mode sends all traffic through the route; it is handy for troubleshooting, but local services slow down along with it. After switching modes, disconnect and reconnect once so the rules reload, otherwise the change may only take effect on the next connection.

If you cannot connect, troubleshoot in order: try another route first; then go back to the client and update the subscription once; next, check that your system time is accurate, since a large clock drift causes handshake failures; finally, check whether another VPN or proxy program is holding the connection.
